The Beach   
The beach was usual enough
It had a horse, sparkling water, people fishing and
Tall sand dunes.
My brother and I did what kids do -
Climbed  the shiny sharp prickly rocks
Surfed the crashing waves
Caught delicious snapper
Boogie boarding down the sand dunes
Doing nothing important  Larell.

Yesterday me and my sister help my mum bake a scrumptious choc fudge slice, with crumbled biscuit throughout the center, we also made some delicious mouth-watering cream puffs that evaporated in our mouths.

This Morning i went for a walk around our street to pick up rubbish.

It was fun and very awarding, a lovely lady said we were awesome and gifted us a chocolate ice cream.

The majority of the rubbish i had picked up was beer bottles and face masks.

My Pet Nala

WALT: Describe a pet

I have written a story describing my pet dog Nala she is awesome .  I love her a lot.

My Pet Nala

Nala is a Shar Pei Labrador cross that likes to jump and bite when I am running.  She is light gold colour just like a lioness. 

Nala is a dog that has pointy ears, sharp teeth and  strong legs. 

Nala likes to sit on me when I sit and fold my legs. She always licks me lots too. 

When Nala is angry she growls at me or bites me.

I love Nala to the moon and back.

WALT: Write a Narrative

Tsunami Warning Friday 05/03/21

On Friday the whole school walked up a steep tiring hill.  There was heaps of prickly gorse.  Me and Reo were digging  a deep, dirty hole. There were ants everywhere in the hole and ant eggs.  Me and Reo were trying to dig the gorse out of our hole we put water in to make it easier to dig.  We found a black beetle and Reo put it back into the hole. Me and Reo found some crickets too. 

Then the school went down to where Sir brought a sausage sizzle.  I found a rabbit hole.  Me and Reo were flipping over kaka so we could find same  crickets, we found 12 crickets.  Sir yelled it was clear to go back to school.  

Everyone walked down the hill to get back to school. I jumped over the gate to say hello to Mihi’s dogs Stig and Man. My favourite dog was Man. Then I crossed the road safely with Mrs Davan and Chase.  We crossed the road, climbed over the fence and  jumped into Yvettes grassy paddock.  Then Whaea Deb asked me if I can piggy bank Jessie to the fence, so he wouldn’t get prickles in his foot.   Whaea Deb told me that she would give me a treat. I went through the wire fence back to school. 

We all went to the playground before we went inside to  pack up for the bus lines.  Miss Koland drove me to town because our bus driver didn't turn up.   What a crazy Friday!

 

 

My Speech - Dogs are the best pets

Do you have a dog? Do you think dogs make the best pets? I am going to tell you why dogs are the best pet.

Dogs can be trained to do jobs for people. Police dogs, guide dogs and pig hunting dogs are helpful dogs. They are dogs that help people with hunting, helping by tracking bad people and leading people when they can’t see.

Dogs can cuddle you when you're sad and  they can snuggle too. My dog cuddles me when I am sad.  My dog, Kowhai, is cuddly when I hug her and  my dog is warm. If you are sick the dog can help you feel better. 

Dogs help with Fitness. They can make you get to do exercise around your  street so you are healthy and strong.

That’s why I think dogs make the best pet.

Writing covid 19

Don't  touch other people because there are cases of Covid-19. No gathering over a hundred because there are  cases of germs. Do not touch something at the shop because you will Put  germs on it. Make sure when you

My Mothers Day Writing

Mum 

My mum has long dark purple bushy hair, when it is out it looks like
Whoppy Goldberg's hair. It gets tied in a bun or gets straightened to
tame it down.

She has shiny dark brown eyes with long black eyelashes.
Her face is nice and smooth with random freckles all over.
I like that my mum is always there when I need her for a cuddle.
I like that she always pushes to do my best. I love it when she
is always beside me to help me with my home learning.
She is always loving and caring to everyone and always puts
everyone first before herself.

She loves to hang out as a family, go fishing or
just playing games and being silly and goofy. Mum loves to sing
and dance with us. Mum loves to bake for everyone. Mum likes
to do arts and crafts with us. She always keeps the house
running by making sure we have clean clothes, food and a clean house.

We like going shopping together. I really enjoy baking with her
because I get to make yummy cakes and cookies. I really like that
she always helps me with my home learning. We like kicking the
rugby ball  to each other.

What I like most is that when she says goodnight to me she says
‘’Goodnight  love you to the moon and beyond’’  and we both
say forever and always.

Happy Mothers Day to the best mum in the world.

My Gran Gran

Last week we had to do some descriptive writing about a special person and i choose to write about my Gran Gran..

Gran Gran 

My Gran Gran has thin,short,wavy brown
hair with streaks of grey all the way
through it. His face is fair and very
smooth, at times it's prickly. He has
bright blue eyes that sparkle all the time.
He is very tall,just taller than my mum.
He always wears pants and a t.shirt.
He is very soft spoken, he is very charming,
and has the biggest bright smile that lights
up the room. He smells very nice with
his 1 million cologne. He is very cuddly
and gives the tightest hugs ever.

My Gran Gran likes to do gardening,
he spends hours outside tidying up his
gardens and pulling out the never ending
weeds. He loves to sit under the big tree in
the shade with a coffee and smoke and just
listen to his music. Every year in May my
Gran Gran runs the big Country Music
Festival in Paihia and every year in August
he also runs the Jazz and Blues Festival in
Paihia. They spend all year putting it all
together getting musos from all over the
world to come. He really enjoys those
weekends away by himself. He also likes
walking his dog Whero around the farm.
He likes doing anything arty and crafty to
pass time, with anything he makes goes in
his gardens.

Me and my Gran Gran like building huts in
his gardens. We both like walking the dog.
We both like gardening together and
trimming back all the overgrown trees and
plants. We enjoy having turns mowing the
lawn, and we just like to hang out and just
chill and talk about everything and anything
especially if I have a hundred and one
questions.

My Gran Gran is very  special to me.
I will always cherish our time together
even though we hardly see him as much
as we like. 

Kawa of Care Assembly- Draft Writing

On funky  friday it was our TE MANGA's 
Assembly Day. We were all dancing into the music and people  laughed and clapped. Me and kaydee and Edmen bumped into each other and people thought that it was real Chromebooks. Gasp But I was excited and I was nervous.
But finally it was my turn!!.We all yelled the kawa of care at the end!!
