Power from the Sun
Words I found tricky.
Electricity- sun's energy
Energy- can be used to make electricity
Kilowatt- measure of power
Renewable- means it will never run out
Hydro-electric - things powered by water-( hydro-electric dams)
The energy from the sun is called ‘’solar energy’’. i have also learnt that solar energy is a type of renewable energy, that means it will never run out no matter how much people use it.
This is my drawing of the sun shining on the solar panels, making electricity inside the panels from there it can be used to power things like light, fridges,ovens,and also televisions.
You learn't a lot from this text Larell. There were quite a few interesting and tricky words. I have noticed quite a few solar panels on buildings around Kaitaia. Have you notice any? Where are they?
